Children’s Way to Serve
Our children are a very important part of our church, and what better way to show them that by including them in our mission to serve. Please contact Natalie Bishop if you have any questions.
Our 3rd-5th Graders will begin the new Sunday school year by learning about the responsibilities of an acolyte. We would like to have two acolytes every Sunday for our 11:00 a.m. Worship Service. Please encourage your child to serve. There will be an Acolyte Schedule available for sign ups on the 3rd – 5th Grade Welcome Table in the Children’s Ministry Suite during Sunday School. Parents will receive an Acolyte email reminder the week before the Sunday that their child is scheduled to serve.
Call to Worship
This year our children (4 Year Olds – 5th Graders) will lead us in our Call to Worship during the 11:00 a.m. Worship Service. Every month, the children will learn a new Bible verse in Sunday School which will serve as the Call to Worship for the month. One of our older children (3rd – 5th Grade) will lead the children by speaking into the microphone each Sunday. This is an exciting new opportunity for our children! We will have a Call to Worship Schedule available for signups for our older children located on the 3rd – 5th Grade Welcome Table in the Children’s Ministry Suite during Sunday School.
The first Sunday of each month is “Food Sunday” at our church. Please include your child in this outreach effort by letting them know what food items are needed for the month and making a special trip to the grocery store together.
