Youth Sunday School
SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR YOUTH * 9:45-10:45am * The PIT
Middle School and High School youth will meet in The PIT each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. then go into three separate Sunday School classes, with all youth coming together once a month for a time of fellowship and service.
MIDDLE SCHOOL – re:form
Lounging on bean bags, our MS class will use the re:form curriculum – creative, funny animated videos and group activities – to engage in tough faith questions. For example, “Is the Holy Spirit a person or wind or fire or what?”
Teachers: Jordan Osborne, Erik Ness, Fred Tunmer
9th GRADE CONFIRMATION – CnC (Confirm not Conform)
This year we are using a confirmation program that celebrates questions and choices. Together, we will create a space where youth can explore the breadth of the Christian tradition, ask questions, express doubts, and discover what they truly believe. This is a year-long class with youth being confirmed on Pentecost Sunday, May 20.
Teacher: Kim Ness, Robbie Bryan
HIGH SCHOOL – d365
The demands of high school can feel overwhelming, but finding just a few minutes each day to connect to God can help lighten the load. D365.org is an app that sends daily devotions to your phone encouraging you to pause-listen-think-pray-go on a different verse from scripture. On Sundays, we’ll look back to see how they impacted our week, and dig a little deeper into the scripture.
Teacher: Megan Bawcum, Natalie Bishop
