Family Promise Host Weeks, March 24 - April 7

Starting January 2024, Family Promise of Athens updated its service delivery model to offer more stability to participating families while they work to transition out of the program into a permanent home. The new model does not require the same number of volunteers as needed over the past several years, however, each volunteer role is an opportunity to directly impact and assist the families.

Please consider volunteering to provide a meal (only four meals needed), drive the van on Monday or Saturday, spend time with the families on Saturday at the Day Center (located at Athens First Baptist Church), host a Saturday Children’s activity for the kids, or provide a $25 donation to purchase grocery or rideshare gift cards. If you can volunteer, please see a Family Promise Team member in the church atrium on Sunday mornings or sign up online using the QR code or going to: tinyurl.com/FPAVolunteer.
