A 40 Day Journey with Matthew 25

This Lenten Season you are invited to explore what it means to be a Matthew 25 church through Bible study and personal reflection. Each day you will be emailed a devotional focusing on the Scripture passage that inspired this initiative, Matthew 25:31-46. You will also have an opportunity to participate in a 40 Day Journey to learn more about the key components of the PCUSA Matthew 25 initiative: building congregational vitality, dismantling structural racism and eradicating systemic poverty. We have compiled over 75 articles, videos, and podcasts that introduce different voices and perspectives for you to engage with each day. At the end of Lent, we will meet in small groups to discuss what we’ve learned and how we might live out the call to be a Matthew 25 church. We hope you will join us on this journey.

If you are not receiving the daily devotionals in your e-mail, please contact the church office (e-mail or call 706-543-4338). If you wish to access the entire devotional booklet at once, click here.
